Hey Beautiful People! I hope y’all are doing wonderfully! This is how I transition a summer romper into fall. Hehe! Besides, I live in central Texas and our summer weather tends to follow us into fall and even winter, sometimes. Although, I will say that this year I believe the weather has been cooler than it was at this time last year, which I am enjoying.
I have been eyeing quite a bit of rompers lately. Can you blame me? They are cute and easy. Plus, I think it’s also the fact that a wider range of rompers seem to fit me better than many jumpsuit options because I’m more on the petite side. To me, the stripes actually look more on the grey side from a distance and in photos, but up close you can see the stripes are black. They just have that effect because the bigger stripes you see are composed of thinner black stripes. You’ll see what I mean in the photos below.
I chose to wear a classic white shirt underneath the romper because I just love how it “ups” the look. This is more of a “work” meets “play” look. If this was a full jumpsuit style, this would totally be great for work, with different shoes of course. Wearing a top underneath, is also a good way to take a romper like this from a casual or beach day to an evening out. By the way, this is currently my favorite classic white shirt. The fit is wonderful, the fabric is great, it has classy detailed lines, and it comes in regular and petite sizes. A classic white shirt is a closet staple. Enjoy!
